Ok, so this is my first attempt at poetry for a long time, so feel free to give me some constructive criticism.......here we go..........
1. Rapture
Envoloped in Your shining light,
Your warmth, swift, through me flows.
And walking here upon Your path,
sweet joy within me grows.
Your smile bestowed so gently now,
lifts from me all my pains.
And brings to me sweet sanctuary,
the blessed, cleansing rains.
My eyes see only truth and joy,
the peace within complete.
No hate, No fear, No pain. My soul
enraptured at Your feet.
.....so that's the first of the 10....hopefully I didn't stink it up too much. I'll attempt the other nine tomorrow afternoon. Until then, take care all.
