Day 34 - The Evening

So, after signing off this morning, I had second breakfast, and then Macca and I went for a ride to the Singapore Botanic Gardens, which I'm told was a 50km ride.  The gardens were a nice place to visit, but I have to say that they don't really have the same charm as Sydney's Royal Botanic Gardens....perhaps I'm a little biased towards my current home though.

Here's a couple of pictures, so you can draw your own conclusions.  I think it's more reminiscent of our parks that of our Botanic Gardens:

So that was the bulk of Sunday for me.  Then we went for a trip into Orchard Road, where we wandered around for a bit, bought some clothes and then had dinner before coming home for some well earned rest.
