G'day Friends,
Well, the working week has begun again, and it started off a little out of the ordinary with our work van having been taken for a service, and not returned. After a vehicle seat re-shuffle, Benny and I got to relax at home until about 9:30, (I watched How To Train Your Dragon), before helping our liaison officer here in Singapore move/re-fuel some cars, and then drive one of them to work.
All in all an 11am start isn't too bad. The day got even better, when I expected to have to work back to fix problems that were tormenting the ship's company while I was not there, but just as it was normal time to leave work, everything sorted itself out and I got away on time.
You certainly can't complain with a 3hr work day, and I most certainly won't!
A nice quiet afternoon was enjoyed before catching up with Nae who I haven't seen for a few years, and her daughter Abby. It was great to see her, as I haven't had much of a chance to catch up with her in the last 5 or 6 years, so to have Jayse (her husband and my mate) post onto the ship earlier this year, and then to have her come visit while we're in Singapore was outstanding.
It makes me laugh that last time we were hanging out together regularly, we were going out clubbing all the time, and now, she and Jayse are parents to Abby, and I'm slowly trying to build a property portfolio........oh how people change :)
Well, as always on a working day, I don't have a great deal to tell so I'll sign off, but if anyone has any more suggestions for the list, please feel free to leave a comment, or hit me up, and if the suggestion doesn't scare me too much, I'll add it too the list :)
